Most structural steel fabrication contractors hand off at least one stage of the job — cutting to one vendor, painting to another, erection to a labour contractor nobody on the design team has met. SISPL doesn't run that way.
Every primary and secondary steel member that leaves our Chakan plant is cut, welded, roll-formed, blasted and painted inside our own facility by a 120-plus-strong technical team accountable for the whole order, not just one station on the line. That's what lets us operate as both a structural steel manufacturer and an erection contractor, hand a fabrication drawing straight to the shop floor that built it, and field a site query in Marathi, Hindi or English without anything getting lost between design intent and execution.

Plate and section cutting, H-beam welding, punching and roll-forming of primary and secondary members against the approved drawing set.
Sandblasting and painting in an enclosed booth, with dimensional checks logged against the drawing before any member is released.
In-house fleet, mobile cranes and crawler lifts move the structure to site, where our erection team closes out the build.

A structural steel fabrication company turns a structural design into physical steel members — cutting plate and sections, welding built-up columns and rafters, punching connection holes, and finishing the steel with blasting and painting — so the frame can be erected on site exactly as the drawing specifies.
PEB manufacturing is a specific, optimised branch of structural steel fabrication. Conventional fabrication often uses standard hot-rolled sections, while PEB fabrication builds tapered, built-up sections sized to the bending moment along their length — which usually reduces steel tonnage and cost for clear-span industrial buildings. Both rely on the same cutting, welding and finishing capability.
Indian projects are typically designed to IS 800:2007 for general steel structures, IS 875 (Parts 1-5) for dead, live and wind loads, IS 1893 for earthquake-resistant design, and IS 456 for associated concrete elements. Projects following international specifications also reference AISI, AWS D1.1, and ASCE 7 / IBC.
Yes. Design and detailing, fabrication, finishing, transport and on-site erection run as one scope, so a single contractor is accountable for the structure from the first cutting drawing to the last bolted connection.
The Chakan plant runs CNC plasma cutting beds up to 24 × 4.2 metres, a 16 mm-capacity hydraulic shearing line, and dedicated PTW H-beam welding lines for built-up primary members, with present output of roughly 20,000 metric tonnes a year, scaling toward 2,00,000 metric tonnes annually as new capacity comes online.
The manufacturing unit is in Chakan, Pune, Maharashtra, with a corporate office in Pimpri. An in-house transport fleet and crane support move fabricated structural steel to industrial sites across Maharashtra and to project locations across India.
